Hey there,
I believe therapy is a unique place where we can find words for things that are often unspeakable. I seek to provide a supportive space where we can work towards an understanding of your sense of meaning and how you relate to self, others, and the world. Often there are no simple answers, especially when the question is complicated by difficult experiences, unexamined stories, and the demands of life.
I have experience working with issues including anxiety, depression, life transitions and relationship to self, others and the world. I hope to help navigate the places where you might feel stuck, from a place of connection and genuine investment. Also, I grew up overseas and have an interest in international clients and clients navigating cultural/generational issues.
My basic approach to therapy is existential-humanistic, and I draw from cognitive-behavioral and mindfulness/somatic approaches as well. I believe in working to develop a strong therapeutic relationship to work from, and have found an eclectic range of tools and strategies to be helpful.
